Nick Cane

Nick Cane is a singer/songwriter based in Cowes, on the Isle of Wight.  He is an accomplished guitarist and singer/songwriter known for his true and clear singing voice; he has been playing mainly country blues and R&B on the professional circuit for most of his life, with experience of working alongside the likes of Pop Staples, Donald Kinsey and John Hammond Jnr when Nick was a session player with the PointBlank Blues label.  He currently works with a new band, The Burglars, who are going from strength to strength on the Island, and plays as a duo with Rob Stout.  Solo work is his main stock in trade, but he is also a member of the house band at Warners Bembridge Coast resort.  He has had one album, ‘Walking’, published to date (‘a musician’s musician’: R2 magazine).  He works in collaboration with renowned sax player Johnny Pugh as Cane & Pugh, composing in many musical genres for the music and film industries.
